Black and white images will always have a special place in my heart. I adore their simplicity, allowing the focus to be on the subject and light in the image. I previously wrote about why I love black and white images ~ if you missed that post, you can read it HERE.
This past month, I was able to do some location scouting for a recent maternity session. I loved being able to walk though a Milwaukee County Park (by myself ~ uncommon occurrence for a mom of four), take in the beauty of Lake Michigan and my surroundings, and capture some of the details that caught my eye:
My littlest and I also toured potential studio space in the Third Ward of Milwaukee. After our adventure, we walked around the Third Ward and stopped for some treats.
I will absolutely never tire of capturing the details of my children. The moments and details are fleeting and I want to remember them as clearly as I do today:
And, a final thought for everyone today (also from my visit to the Third Ward of Milwaukee):
This post is part of a blog circle with a group of photographers from Light Inspired. I would love it if you would follow the circle all the way through until you get back to me. Next is MQN Photography.
